The P322 does have the optic cut. I added a dovetail mount optic plate to my tx22. I have holosun 507k's on both. The P322 has a rectangular steel insert that houses the firing pin, This includes the breech face. It is not user removable. The P322 has been reported to have light strike issues and horrible barrel leading issues over on Sigtalk.W P22 - same as S&W.
